First view the system requirements for IdleMiner at the system requirements section in the FAQ. If your computer is up to speed you can download idleminer from the IdleMiner download page.

By clicking on the Site menu you can select which site you want IdleMiner to open

By Clicking on the Game Menu you can select which type of game you want to mine.

In the Options Menu you can customize the different IdleMiner Options:

• Automatically Start PokerTracker: When this option is checked, IdleMiner will open PokerTracker and begin to import hands as it gets them.
• Automatically Position Windows: This Option will automatically position the windows neatly.
• Quick Close After Screensaver: This option will close IdleMiner and PokerTracker immediately when you come out of screensaver Mode.
• Ignore Monster Tables: This option will cause IdleMiner to only datamine regular tables.
• Ignore Speed Tournaments: This option will cause IdleMiner to only open regular Sit&Go’s.
• Manual Operation Mode: This option will stop IdleMiner from opening and closing tables so you can datamine observed hands while playing.

Limit Selection
In this area you can select which limits you want to datamine. Select the structure of the game you want, the type of game and the number of maximum players. The list box below will populate with the games available. Double click on a game to add it to the list of games to be datamined.

Once you have selected a limit to datamine, you can set the minimum number of players in the game for that table to remain open. If the number of players drops below this number the table will be replaced with a new one. You can also set the number of tables of this type to open.

You can mix add as many different types of tables as you want.

Datamining Settings
Here you can set the number total number of tables you want to datamine. The maximum number is twelve. In order to mine greater than 4 tables, you must have remember me checked on the party poker login screen.

The Output Path is the location where the mined hand histories will be stored. You can change this by clicking on the path in the Datamining Settings area. The default is your party poker directory. You will need to have PokerTracker set to import hands from this location.

If PokerTracker is installed on your computer in a location other than the default. You will need to set the path for your PokerTracker location as well.

There are a few different ways to close IdleMiner:

• Stop & Kill PP will close down all open tables and the Party Poker lobby.
• Stop & Close Tables will close just close the open tables.
• Stop will leave the tables open but stop IdleMiner from datamining.

IdleMiner Screensaver
IdleMiner also functions as a screensaver. Anytime your computers screensaver would usually come on IdleMiner will open up Party Poker and automatically begin datamining the tables you have selected. A graphic will appear on the screen indicating the number of hands that have been datamined.

The screensaver is automatically installed when you install idleminer. If you have to change your screensaver and want to change it back to the IdleMiner screensaver, click the Reinstall screensaver button in the Datamining Settings area.

System Tray Control
You can also minimize idleminer which will place it in the system tray. You can right click on the small IdleMiner Icon to start and stop IdleMiner from the tray. You can also put IdleMiner in manual operation. Single clicking the icon will maximize the IdleMiner main screen.
